Light and Bright Camper Renovation with room for Nine to sleep!!

This camper was a true gem. It was so well built and had such a great layout…and those bunks!! Sleeping 4 people in bunks is such a big deal! We didn’t actually remove anything major except for the sofa. There isn’t a pantry in this one, so we felt like the overhead cabinets were a necessary evil and they turned out looking not so evil anyway!!
Let’s start with the kitchen!
We ripped out the old laminate countertops and installed a light butcher block we get at a place called Southeastern Salvage. It is made of Acacia wood and we used a water based poly on it to finish it.
The cabinets are Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog.

These bunks are my favorite we’ve ever done! The headboards are made from a runner I found on amazon (linked here)
The throws at the foot of the bed are from Walmart…I can’t find them anywhere on their site anymore unfortunately. They were by Better Homes + Gardens if you want to try to find them!
The sage throw pillow can be found at Target.
We pulled out the sofa because it was just too big and too ugly. We custom built this bench!
The cushion is covered in a RUG from Urban Outfitters. I really wanted something unique and this was the solution! Also super durable!

Loved this headboard so much! I’d been dying to use it somewhere and this turned out to be the perfect spot! The bedding is from Target and the throw at the foot of the bed is Urban Outfitters. Pillows are all target!
We were so pleased with how this build turned out. We also finished it just in the knick of time…not only did the tornado hit East Nashville the very night this camper pulled out of the driveway (just a few streets over from where our shop is)…but the pandemic hit shortly after. From darkness comes joy, however, and it has been so wonderful seeing the sweet family that purchased this camper enjoying it!
